Weightron Bilanciai were happy to bridge the gap when Anglian Water needed to know how much to charge firms for their industrial waste disposal.

Despite fierce competition, the international company won a £750 000 contract to manufacture and install weighbridges at over 20 sites. The firm will also carry out all civil engineering and associated security.

As well as generating additional work for other local firms the contract is expected to create 5 new jobs at Weightron's Chesterfield works.

The project in its entirety, from a greenfield site to weighbridge commissioning is scheduled to be complete in a record 20 weeks.

The complexity of this task expands further as the Group will work with an associated IT company that will network all sites and link them back to Anglian Water's HQ.
