Its certainly the time for takeovers and mergers within the weighing and materials handling industry. Most recently, the BMH Division of Babcock International Group PLC has aquired Chronos Holdings and all the Chronos Richardson companies world wide. The company name will be amended by inserting BMH in front of Chronos Richardson Group MD Mike Sanderson is confident that BMH's knowledge and experience will greatly improve the opportunities for the future growth of BMH Chronos Richardson and benefit customers and employees. hheeley@chronos-richardson.com The Weighing and Service division of Negretti Automation has been acquired by the Prosafe Group and becomes part of Procon Engineering. Procon already incorporates Defiant Weighing, Inflo Control Systems and Lintvalve . Alan Fanthom becomes sales manager for Weighing products and systems and the company say that sales continuity is assured. All service agreements will also be honoured.
