The Statimeter name has been synonymous for over 40 years with
robust, reliable and accurate pressure sensing and recording devices.
The original design concept of our hydrostatic load cell remains as
fundamentally efficient and effective today as it was in the days
of early jet engine development when Statimeter load cells
were specified for the the first engine test beds. Continued development
has extended the range and added the option of a digital readout as
an alternative to analogue equipment. The strength of the Statimeter
technology lies in its ability to be utilised in environments where
conventional strain gauge load cells are unsuitable or impractical.
Statimeter load cells, available in capacities from a few pounds
to over 1000 tonnes, are used in crane scales, chlorine tank scales,
pharmaceutical compaction systems, subsea tension monitors, helicopter
lifting equipment, power cable tension monitors and hydraulic presses.

Statimeters are in use in over 40 countries worldwide and have
been approved by leading aviation authorities. The instruments are
specified by the Ministry of Defence for various demanding applications.
